Did anyone else get caught in this clusterfvck? I was driving in from Austin early Sunday morning in order to be ahead of the SXSW traffic and had to drop my brother in uptown.
What is normally literally a 3-minute trip took us almost an hour and a half, as we wound around uptown trying to figure out how to get to my office where my brother's car was parked. We ended up going eastward thru uptown, around on McKinney Avenue, then cut back west on Lemmon & Wycliff to the tollway, then could get down the tollway to my office.
It was absolute fvcking gridlock. Worst part was the Dallas cops were fantastic at blocking off streets for the marathon, but were doing absolutely nothing whatsoever to manage traffic during the event.
