The SEC East hasn't won the SEC Championship Game since 2008. The West will still be the better conference, but this is the year the East champion will finally upset the West in the Championship.
Neither TCU or Baylor will win the Big 12
I'm a believer in the theory that TCU and Baylor were good last year because the rest of the Big 12 was so bad. They were really the only two decent teams in the entire conference. This year, the conference still won't be great, but it will be better. Okie State gets both TCU and Baylor in Stillwater. They will win both those games, and the Big 12.
Two conferences are left out of the playoffs
Notre Dame will put together a solid season and bump the ACC out of the mix. The Big 12 will also be left out of the mix again.
