Dallas Cowboys work out three RBs, sign two, including Texas A&M, Cedar Hill product Ben Malena
That led to the Cowboys working out three running backs Saturday after the club’s morning walk-through practice here. The Cowboys worked out Zach Bauman, Michael Hill and Ben Malena.
“We just need somebody who can come in and help us compete and help us get better,” Brown said of the three running backs in for the workout. “We’re going to see what they can do. If the guys upstairs feel like they can help us, we’ll sign them. If not, then we wish them well.”
Malena was with the Cowboys during training camp last year and spent time on the Houston Texans’ practice squad a year ago. Malena, the former Cedar Hill standout, graduated from Texas A&M on Friday before making the trip to California.
