Like the title says, I am considering a change in my career and have explored the idea of entering the insurance industry as an underwriter. I have more than three and a half years experience working as a landman/title analyst for a couple different companies.
I consider my biggest strengths to be my analytical and problems solving skills as well as my ability to communicate complex problems, issues, and solutions. I am a quick learner and have a track record of success working both independently and with others to meet common goals.
I am hopeful someone on the board could help me with the following questions:
Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

I am hopeful someone on the board could help me with the following questions:
- Does my skill set match what insurance companies are looking for in an underwriter?
- Is there any online training I can look into to make me a more attractive candidate?
- Anyone hiring or know of someone who is? I'm not tied down to any location (currently in Houston) at all and willing to relocate for a new opportunity if it is a good fit.
Thanks for any help or advice in advance.
