California has made it criminal to advertise firearms and shooting activities to youth. Understand not target youth with certain firearms but the law which contains significant financial penalties is forcing the Hight School Clay Target League to shut its doors and its programs. This will likely affect any shooting program involving youth in California, i.e. Scouts, JrROTC, 4-H, high school shooting programs, gun clubs. A person might not be able to take their youth to gun ranges under this. These are not the youth that are misusing firearms but are learning safe handling of firearms under supervision. Such great minds in California!
