Bored. So, let's discuss:
Is Israel on friendly terms with Russia?
Just curious, because:
- US will have little to no influence/military in the Middle East within 2 years (not claiming it's good or bad; just that it will be).
- Russia will be allied with Iran, Syria & Shi'a Muslims; whom all have a pretty hard line stance against Israel (especially Iran).
This situation screams for the state Israel to be attacked and annihilated.
To add to this, Russia's recent actions in Syria will make them a target of Sunni Muslims (who also have very definite opinions on Israel)...best way to stay on their good side would be to allow an attack on Israel.
With all of that said, I ask (out of ignorance) if Russia has any reason (historical, cultural, economical, etc) to protect Israel from its enemies?
We can discuss if that would be a good/bad/indifferent thing in another thread. Right now, would just like to know if Russia's newfound influence in the ME means the end of Israel in the next 5-10 years.
TIA
