My son has a goal to play for A&M and ultimately the NFL. I told him that it's very hard and that I was willing to lay the foundation--if he would put in the work. He has been putting in the work for years now. We have sacrificed many weekends for flag, tackle and 7 v 7. We camped at Aggieland last week and he was bumped up to the older division with the 7th and 8th graders. Coach Petrino worked closely with him and another 6th grader. As a man that paid his dues on Kyle Field, it is a blessing to watch your son swing his sword where your teammates practiced many moons ago.
