listening to College Sports on Sirius XM this morning and aired the interview with Beliema arguing against fast paced offenses.
old argument - fast paced O's increase odds of injury
results of old argument - shown to be false
new argument - fast paced O's run more plays therefore kids effectively play 1.5 more games a year than those kids in slow paced O's -so that now increases odds of injuries.
Why would he not use subs? Perhaps he should be arguing for strict weight and speed restrictions to negate the laws of physics, when Arky has the ball, perhaps he should sit on it more than he is doing and run a "4 corners" offense from the first play.
Just plain stupid. In relationship to another thread, sounds like he'd be one to have a "Ready for Hillary" bumper sticker with this type of logic.
