As a Rangers fan I’m actually ok with the Seager signing but Semien getting 7 years is just way to long. I’ve always said I’m jealous of the Astros and their success over the last 5 years. With the way free agent signings have worked out so far it’s looking more and more like they might get Correa back for a bargain compared to the market. Everyone thought it would be the Yankees or the Tigers. The Tigers just signed Baez and it doesn’t look like they are willing to spend like the Rangers. After the shit talking that Correa did about Jeter I just don’t see the Yankees signing him. They really could get him back on a reasonable deal. Like the Rangers they still have a whole in CF but they are at least more equipped to deal with it internally that the Rangers.
