Pretty big news coming out of the developer conference. Started slow, but best update I've seen since joining 19 years ago - especially HoloLens and app story.
- Windows 10 will run iOS and Android apps with a simple port to a Universal App
- Universal Apps run on PC/Tablet, Phone and XBOX - so iOS/Android apps can run on all
- HoloLens is RIDICULOUS - and I am not exaggerating
- New browser called Microsoft Edge
- .NET runs natively on OSX and Linux
- Visual Studio runs on OSX and Linux
- Windows Phones will be mini PC - including running on big screens (multiple monitors)
- Tons of Windows 10 demos and updates (including Cortana)
- Windows Store for Business
- Desktop apps will be published in store as well
- Optional Carrier billing (pay AT&T/Verizon etc. for any app/music/video purchases)
- Lots of Azure and Office 365 updates
