I finally went back and rewatched game and on second viewing, we weren't running the ball horribly. It was t great but it wasn't too bad.
I think going down 14-0 was huge. If you think back to the games where our offense does well, the blueprint is score td on first drive of the game, get up early and make other team abandon their game plan.
If we would have been up early, we could have stayed commuted to the run. Even if we run it 35 times at 3.3 yards a carry, that gets us to 100 yards rushing.
