Texas A&M offered 2017 four-star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa earlier this week, his mother tells me. There is some history there with new offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone.
"Mazzone was the first coach to offer Tua when they were at UCLA," Diane Tagovailoa said. "Nonetheless, it is interesting."
Obviously, the Aggies have Tate Martell in the 2017 class so perhaps the Mazzones are just covering their bases. USC and UCLA have been considered the frontrunners for Tagovailoa, the top-rated prospect in Hawaii in 2017.
