To add insult to injury…

My wife and I drove my truck into Houston down 59. She told me the brakes were failing in that the peddle was dropping further than it should.

We limped into a pep boys of 59 and greenbriar. They told us we had a leak in the back left brake line. My wife and I had appointments and left my truck with them.

I paid for the line to be replaced and we went the next day to pick it up. We got in to the truck and my wife in the drivers seat said the brake light was on. Before we did anything I told her to pop the hood and the mechanics said we didn’t have any brake fluid in the master cylinder.

They then told us if we drove it then the engine would suck brake fluid into the engine and lock it up. So we left it and I we went home Engine running fine.

I asked them to quote me and it was 1200 dollars. Friday to the next Monday. I laughing said no and that I’ll get it towed else where. My truck was towed by my insurance company Allstate and delivered to my mechanic. Once the driver offloaded my truck the engine was locked up… toast…

My insurance isn’t covering it. How many expletives and you yell out at once!

Bottom line I need a new engine.

Anyone know of a decent retailer for this?
