The Aggies let Nevada hang around a little more than they should have but still notched their 3rd win of the season.
A few players stood out tho most Saturday for the Aggies and AggieYell will hand out game balls for the top performers in the 44-27 win.
Kyle Allen - Other than the 1 interception, Allen had an impressive outing, throwing for 270 yards and 4 touchdowns as well as running for 73 more and another score. He continues to click well with the first team and he is just about where you would want him from a confidence level heading into league player.
Myles Garrett - Garrett continued to do more of what everyone loves to see him do, dominate. Although he fought some conditioning issues down the stretch (turns out for good reason) but when it counted most he was lights out. The super sophomore had 4 tackles-for-loss, including 3.5 sacks.
Tra Carson - Was the workhorse for the Aggies that they needed him to be today with a shallow depth chart at running back. The senior carried the ball 22 times for 137 yards. He never found the endzone but punished Nevada at times with his bruising running style.
Christian Kirk - Kirk continues his amazing start to the season with a six catch, 120 yard performance. Although he did not find the endzone and had one questionable decision in special teams, it is still hard to argue with his talent level at this early mark.
A.J. Hilliard - Hilliard looked a little rusty at times, again as can be expected, but had some great plays as well. He finished his first action with a team leading 8 tackles and 2 tackles-for-loss, including a sack. More importantly he appeared to finish the game healthy which is a positive heading into league play.
Josh Reynolds - Not the most dominating performance he has ever had but it was very effective. He finished the game with just 3 catches for 55 yards but made them count taking two of them into the endzone for scores.
Honorable Mention - Julien Obioha, Zaycoven Henderson, Damion Ratley, Daylon Mack
