No disrespect to the Roadrunners, I'm a firm believer that UTSA sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs the Longhorns of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few innings in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Longhorns play great baseball it's just not fair.
If the Longhorns lose a 4th time, I will face that the Roadrunners deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Longhorns and the SEC.
Just got back. Brutal ending to the season. The Horns just played terrible these last two nights. Mistakes everywhere. Hitting, pitching, base running, fielding. Just didn't get it done. The Roadrunners are damn good though. I'd take a few of their hitters. Still a very nice season and a big building block. I can't wait to see who we get in the portal. Replacing, Max, Kimble, Galvan, etc will not be easy. It will also be interested in who we lose
