1st, on the play KA fumbled, it's certainly his fault for not protecting the ball. But the pressure was due to Cheek missing his assignment. He is the guy at about the 19, he dives at the lb feet and whiffs, that guy eventually causes the fumble. Also, check out speedy playing the X, he has got to do a better job getting off the jam. 6 guys coming on this.
Here is the same formation/play a little later in the game. Cheek does a much better job and KA makes a nice throw to 3 for a nice gain and 1st down. Again 6 coming, the lb is held for the PA to Carson but comes as soon as the ball is pulled.
Now I have posted a couple of places about the next 2 plays, so I thought I would go ahead and post the pics so you can see them. Please don't get me wrong I am not bashing KM, I'm not promoting KA, I am simply showing the difference in where both are at in their respective maturation. The 1st picture is 4th and inches, the lb scrapes off the RT hip and makes the TFL but take not of the blitzing DB coming off of CK.
Now here is the same play, lb is scraping for the inside power and the db is blitzing for the qb in case he pulls it. KA reads it and hits CK on the hot read. 3 does his thing.
