At our little unsanctioned (but 10 year old) '73 Muster at Tupinamba's in Dallas last night our speaker was the manager for the 1967 Fighting Texas Aggie football team. He took us through the season...started off with 4 straight losses, won all the rest...and he told a bunch of Cotton Bowl stories. And he concluded with the story of Wendell Housley's touchdown that Bear Bryant said decided the game. 2 of the guys at my table had never heard of Wendell, even though he was sitting at another table. We quaffed a ton of beers, ate some great TexMex (Tupinamba's is owned by Eddie Dominguez '66 who was a starting point guard for the Aggie basketball team, every receipt his restaurant prints says Gig Em! at the bottom), and we sang The Spirit. I've been going to Musters for over 50 years and these my class puts on set the standard. Scroll to the 18 minute mark to see Wendell if you're interested.
