Texans fans

Is it just me or does it seams like the Texans and Aggies always have a lot of parallels? If the Aggies are performing well, so are the Texans. The last few years the Texans OL sucks ass, so do the Aggs. They both get their OL straightened out and start running the ball well at the same time. There are so many more examples.

The latest example: this last weekend the Aggs play against a young QB that players have some personal connection with and harass him all game in a dominant fashion.....and the Texans do the same to Caleb Williams.

Am I making this sh** up in my head or do others see the same? Obviously it's complete coincidence but just something I notice.

Arguments/ Logical Fallacies

Ad Hominem

Informal
The ad hominem attack is a logical fallacy associated with trying to undermine the opponent's arguments by personal attacks, through attacking their character or skill level, etc. The ad hominem attack uses an accepted fact about a person to undermine their credibility despite the lack of causal connection between the two parts of the argument.

"This message board is full of idiots"

Appeal to Authority

The fallacy of appeal to authority makes the argument that if one credible source believes something that it must be true.

"Well, if you can do better why aren't you coaching/on the field?"

Appeal to Emotion

The fallacy of appeal to emotion makes a claim based on sympathy or empathetic instead of just or logical grounds.

"Quit being a pussy!"

Caveman Argument Resolution

The fallacy of caveman argument resolution is based on the argument that the person making a claim would not confront the person he is making the claim against therefore the claim is not valid.

"I bet you wouldn't say that to his face"
